Being invited back to Meta for a second year meant a lot to me. I felt proud, grateful, and ready to create something that felt fresh for this year’s launch. Last year we were part of the Meta Wearables Launch Party. This year, on October 22, 2026, we returned to Shoreline Amphitheatre for the Meta Wearables and Devices Launch, which celebrated Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner.
Make Your Life Sweeter brought three experiences: the debut of SŪKI, our roaming ZIYĀ AI Watercolor Portrait Experience, and a sweet bar with gummies and popcorn served in custom cups. Each one brought a different side of our work to the event.
SŪKI’s First Event
SŪKI is especially close to my heart because we spent months bringing the experience to life. The Meta Wearables and Devices Launch was where we introduced it.
For Meta, we created four adhesive designs inspired by Meta glasses styles: Meta Starfire Kylie Edition, Oakley Meta Vanguard, Linen Meta Adventurer, and Racing Green Meta Fury. Guests could choose the design that felt most like them.
Each design began as a rendering based on a Meta glasses reference. Seeing the finished pieces boxed and ready for the event was a moment I won’t forget. It was the first time months of ideas, decisions, and creative work came together as a real experience guests could enjoy.
ZIYĀ, Wherever Guests Were
ZIYĀ also took a different form at this event. Instead of having guests come to a fixed booth, our team brought the experience to them, moving through the event with the roaming setup.
Guests became watercolor portraits, with the event artwork incorporated into the design. I loved watching their faces when they saw the finished portraits. There’s something personal about seeing yourself reimagined in a way you didn’t expect.
Guests could take a digital version with them, along with a printed portrait to keep. I want ZIYĀ to feel less like stopping for a photo and more like leaving with a small piece of the event.
A Sweet Detail
The sweet bar brought gummies and popcorn into the mix, served in custom cups featuring sunglasses-inspired faces. We styled the display on cream pedestals.
I’ve always loved the details that make an experience feel considered. Here, even a cup could connect back to the launch. It was a simple way to bring the theme into something familiar and fun.
The People Behind It
An event like this comes together through a lot of people’s care and attention. Thank you to Kelly Jang and Dana Luong for working alongside me for months and trusting us with three experiences at such an important event. I’m also grateful to Tony, Ankit Brahmbhatt, and Kevin Swain for making us feel welcome.
And to our team, Michalea, Jude, Gracyn, Ashvi, Allison, and Ayat: thank you for the long days, early mornings, and care you put into every portrait, SŪKI design, and sweet detail. I’m proud of what we created together.
Two years at Meta is something I don’t take for granted. I’m grateful to everyone who made this year possible, and especially proud that SŪKI made its debut there.
With gratitude,
Yasmeen
