FACEBOOK - Bring Your Kids To Work Day
The Facebook office located in New York City, is home to hundreds of eager and driven employees. Taking occupancy over multiple floors in one of New Works finest high-rises, everyone has more than enough space to fulfill their most creative potential in order to produce their best work.
This past June, I was asked to Make Life a little Sweeter for Facebooks annual “Bring your kids to work day”, and I was thrilled to be able to attend with my Sweet team!
My team and I arrived to the Facebook office the morning of the event and were greeted with the biggest smiles! Everyone was in such a great mood because of the days events. I was handed an abnormally large MetroCard with the days festivities printed on the back as the Make Your Life Sweeter® team was directed to the Instagram floor to begin setup.
As fellow Facebook employees made their way through the building with their children, they were all welcomed with a HotPoppin® Gourmet Popcorn Bar and a Sugaire® Organic Cotton Candy Custom Tasting Bar! We were placed right next to the complimentary Instagram juice and gelato bar, making it the perfect place to stop and grab a Sweet treat!
As the day progressed, I was able to walk around the Facebook and Instagram offices to see all the festivities that were brought out for this special day. They had face painting, balloon artists, book readings and even real life lego characters running around!
The Make Your Life Sweeter® team had such an amazing time and I am so thankful for such an amazing opportunity and chance to be able to hang out with the cutest kids all day! Can’t wait for next year!
